Barry Spivack – Healing Social Divisions

Can a consciousness-based approach heal social divisions and promote life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?

We live at a time when societies are riven with division and strife. The development of higher states of consciousness not only affects the individual concerned but has side benefits for the whole of society. Peer-reviewed research provides evidence that a non-ideological, consciousness-based approach can heal social divisions. Apart from the practical benefits of improving cooperation and reducing fatalities this research gives repeated evidence that consciousness has field like qualities and is primary to matter. Furthermore, the values of freedom, happiness and truth have their source in the least excited state of human consciousness and the development of higher states of consciousness or what is sometimes called Self-realisation will enhance these values in both individual and public life.
