Dr Neil Douglas-Klotz – Revelations of the Aramaic Jesus

What does a view of Jesus through his native language of Aramaic reveal about the way he and his close students viewed the world, and what does it mean for the evolution of human consciousness today?

Neil speaks with David Lorimer about his new book on the Aramaic Jesus along with his 40 years of work translating the wisdom teachings of the Middle East (Southwest Asia) as viewed through the worldview and way of knowing of the ancient Semitic languages. Related subjects to include: the Gospel of Mary Magdalene and the Gospel of the Beloved Companion, the evolution of consciousness, Owen Barfield, “science” and “spirituality,” and the contribution to today’s challenges gathered from a more nuanced, complex view of the ancient world.
