Where God and Medicine Meet

A Conversation Between a Doctor and a Spiritual Messenger

Neale Donald Walsch is well known for his Conversations with God series, and here he is in dialogue with a young doctor who was also one of his students. The dialogues consider human life, the body and health in a wider framework, integrating the physical with the spiritual; then the second part is a series of questions and answers on a number of topics including dementia, prescriptions, death and spiritual healing. Overall, the book is a timely reminder of some of the core messages of Conversations with God: that life is primarily a spiritual experience of being, that we are here to help and heal each other in a spirit of Oneness, that what you resist persists, that gratitude is a powerful policy, and that life goes in cycles, renewing itself and expressing itself in new forms. Quality of life is more important than quantity, and we need to tune in to our soul agenda beyond our immediate physical preoccupations.
