Vaccination - a Guide for Making Personal Choices
Second edition of this balanced guide for parents concerned with making the right choice about vaccinating their children, a subject which has been widely debated. The book gives a historical overview of vaccinations and their side effects, observing that vaccinations are not natural infections and that childhood diseases play a role in the maturation of the immune system. Readers growing up in the 60s will remember experiencing most of these diseases at some time or other, and it is perhaps too early to judge the long term effect of the current regime. There is an overall anthroposophical perspective behind the book, which does give parents the basis of making an informed decision.
