by Maurice Cotterell ✦ Review by David Lorimer, December 2001
This is the latest book by Maurice Cotterell, author of 'The Tutankhamun Prophecies' and a number of other books on South American and Egyptian traditions. Here he elaborates his thesis that supergods have incarnated in various cultures and taught the higher orders of science and spirituality including what he calls the super-science of the sun. He argues that the secrets of this science are encoded in the pyramids of Peru, leaving a message of reincarnation to future generations. Network readers will also be interested in the spiritual teaching underlying the book, based on the view that the soul is 'imperishable, indestructible, immortal and everlasting'. In a gnostic tradition he sees the earth as hell - the polar opposite of heaven - and has a somewhat depressing view of alternating incarnations in high- and low-voltage bodies, but there is the possibility of liberation or purification when the physical, emotional and intellectual bodies are in equilbrium. There is more detail than there is space for here - an intriguing book.
