Every year, the Temenos Academy Review provides a rich treasury of articles, poetry and book reviews inspired by its ten basic principles involving wisdom, spiritual vision and an understanding of tradition as continual renewal. In this issue there are two important articles on nature, one by John Carey on Natura as a goddess of mediaeval Christendom and another on Shakespeare and the unity of nature and humanity.
