Temenos Academy Review 2003

This is the first issue of the Temenos Academy Review to appear since the death of its founder, Dr. Kathleen Raine last summer. Nevertheless she was still able to contribute a review of Satish Kumar's book and obituaries of two of her friends - Peter Russell and William Cookson. The Review offers its customary rich fare of essays, reviews and poems exploring aspects of the perennial philosophy and the arts. Notable items include 'Life and Architecture on Mount Athos', 'Othello and the Human Spirit' and 'Imagination as Theophany in Islam'. The Review is a beacon of civilised values and spiritual inspiration.
