Science and Wisdom

A substantial contribution to the science and religion field by a noted theologian. Moltmann stresses wisdom as the ethics of knowledge, remarking that the enormous increase in knowledge over the last fifty years requires a still greater increase in wisdom. He discusses time, space, cosmology and eschatology; and in the final part has interesting chapters on Bruno as well as a discussion of the Chinese Tao, which he compares with Jewish and Christian wisdom traditions.
