Rowan Williams - An Introduction
A timely book about the new Archbishop of Canterbury by one of his former pupils. The first half of the book gives a biographical insight into his career and development while the second looks at his theology, politics and spirituality. The result is a readable account of a complex individual who might be called a radical traditionalist in doctrine, searching out new insights from orthodox paths. The wide range of sources and personal contacts used result in a vivid and sympathetic picture.
