Regards sur le Maitre Philippe de Lyon

Maitre Philippe de Lyon (1849-1905) is scarcely known in the English-speaking world. Philippe Encausse describes him as more than a miraculous healer, rather an envoy and representative of Divine Providence. In reading this short book, one can absolutely understand why. He touched and healed many people, and often asked for a corresponding gesture on the part of the person requesting the healing or the healee – a gesture of kindness, ethics or charity. He explained that he had received the power to command through the Word. His teaching was very simple: purity of heart, prayer, charity, love, humility, forgiveness, grace. He himself became nothing in order to know and manifest everything. His daily life was also simple, discreet and humble. He said that man is nothing in himself until he has acquired freedom. And, tellingly, that we will only acquire faith when we actually become and embody it. The great sages are here to re-harmonise, to reconnect, to apply the Force of Light and Love in the world.
