Quantum Theory
A very short introduction
John Polkinghorne begins his short book with the quotation from Richard Feynman: 'I think I can safely say that no one understands quantum mechanics'. However, John lucidly makes his way through this complex field with clear expositions of the key concepts, conundrums, interpretations and implications of quantum theory. His final chapter considers lessons and meanings. Highly recommended by Chris Isham of Imperial College and Jeremy Butterfield at Oxford.
