PSYWAR

Robert Malone will be well-known to readers characterised either as a dangerous purveyor of misinformation or a physician of integrity upholding free speech and genuine science (he was one of the pioneers of mRNA technology with 10 patents to his name, but all this information has been removed from his Wikipedia page). The theme of this important book is the history and tactics of modern psychological warfare where governments coordinate and direct deployment of propaganda, censorship, and psychological operations (psyops) tools and campaigns designed to manipulate public opinion and behaviour. Among the critical topics addressed here are propaganda and behavioural control, psychological bioterrorism, deep state censorship, surveillance capitalism, administrative state objectives, fifth generation warfare, psywar tactics, techno-totalitarianism, and the New World Order involving global control. The extensive deployment of narrative and behavioural control strategies during the Covid years has become clear to more people over the past year, and is thoroughly documented here.

In this context, it is worth quoting a prophetic passage written by Aldous Huxley in 1962: ‘By means of ever more effective methods of mind manipulation, the democracies will change their nature; the quaint old forms… elections, parliaments, supreme courts and all the rest… will remain. The underlying substance will be a new kind of Totalitarianism. All the traditional names, all the hallowed slogans will remain exactly like they were in the good old days. Democracy and freedom will be the theme of every broadcast and editorial. Meanwhile, the ruling oligarchy and its highly trained elite will quietly run the show as they see fit.’ Similar words were written by Zbigniew Brzezinski in the 1970s in his book The Technetronic Era. The scope of government capacity for psychological mass formation through the application of behavioural psychology has been hugely extended by advanced modern technologies that also target the emotions and the subconscious. And at a philosophical level, the idea that humans are machines implies that it is quite logical to try to control them for optimal functioning.

The mind and the brain are the new battlefields for neurowarfare, with many of the techniques first developed by the military, anxious not to be left behind by their enemies. The difference is that such strategies are now deployed on domestic populations, and are framed as a matter of national security whereby dissidents (heretics in the old parlance) are classified as domestic terrorists to be legitimately targeted by the CIA, GCHQ and the 77th Brigade (p. 32). Without understanding the history of covert intelligence operations, it is impossible to grasp the coordinated orchestration of what is currently going on and the way in which we are drifting towards authoritarianism and techno-totalitarianism. In the media, self-appointed projects such as the Trusted News Initiative act as guardians of information and approved narratives that can be algorithmically promoted and patrolled by ‘fact -checkers’ (funded by the same sources) ‘in order to preserve democracy.’ (Refer back to Huxley above) Given the corporate capture of government and government agencies, we effectively live in a corporotocracy, plutocracy and oligarchy exhibiting systemic corruption (see the documentary Monopoly for elaboration).

A pivotal event in US history was the assassination of President Kennedy, orchestrated by his own military and intelligence services. This was one of many assassinations, both domestic and foreign, carried out for political and economic reasons, (see the work of David Talbot, Edward Curtin, John Perkins and James Douglass among others) and in the process subverting the high moral ground of freedom and democracy. The Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) funded the development of Google and Facebook as ways of gathering information for psychological profiling; and DARPA also gave grants of $25 million to Pfizer and Moderna to develop the mRNA platform (this makes more sense within a bioweapons scenario). A good deal of covert information activity was also funded through the recently dismantled USAID and backed by US think tanks and NGOs funded by the Pentagon to the tune of $700 million a year.

The current situation is well characterised by Mike Benz in relation to efforts to counter populism. He writes that ‘It’s essentially all of the elite establishments that were under threat from the rise of domestic populism that declared their own consensus to be the new definition of democracy.’ (p. 21, my italics) The elites regard themselves as the only right-thinking people, hence wrong-thinking people (Hillary Clinton’s ‘deplorables’) who disagree with them are to be censored and excluded for the good of society. This also justifies election interference in Germany, France, Romania and elsewhere under the banner of countering dangerous ‘far right extremism’ – another loaded propaganda term. This kind of activity serves to undermine public trust in institutions, and this trust cannot be recovered through ‘rebuilding trust’ aka social engineering according to the WEF, but through honesty, integrity, and transparency.

The direction of travel is specified in the managerial vision of supporting ‘a unified, globalised, centralised political and economic world order based on a command economy rooted in massive databases, predictive artificial intelligence-driven decision-making, computational modelling, and the merging of man and machine to create a new species. Fulfilling this objective is believed to require universal surveillance, propaganda powered by modern psychology, algorithmic censorship, cultural homogenisation, and centralised automated economic controls and resource allocation. (p. 49) Moreover, ‘at the heart of psyops operations are behavioural tools or mind-control techniques such as hypnosis, mass formation, neuro linguistic programming, repetitive messaging, censorship, security theatre, bots, trolls, computational (big) data, and the use of fear to drive anxiety and insert propaganda into the hearts and minds of a populace.’ (p. 50) The Malones explain the strategic acronym FORCES, consisting of Frame, Obstruct, Ruse, Compel, Entangle, Seduce.

If all this seems exaggerated, then I urge you to read the book for yourself. Is the situation hopeless? Not if a sufficient number of people become aware and coordinate resistance to the future that the technocrats like Sam Altman think of as inevitable. The great Enlightenment philosophers such as Voltaire championed free speech and open debate, even if they disagreed strongly with their opponents. Such principles are especially important in science, as well as in politics. They also point in the direction of decentralisation and local autonomy, rather than centralised bureaucratic control. Some of you will have recently attended the launch of our Transhumanism report (you can download it from https://galileocommission/report). Patrick Wood, in a book reviewed in these pages, couples the development of transhumanism with technocracy. What is now at stake is our inherent humanity and divinity, our very neurocognitive liberty, the freedom to think for ourselves without subversive influences. In a follow-up discussion with James Martinez, a specialist in the history of mind-control, he gave me an update on the state of this technology – see these two Substack articles for more detailed information: https://forbiddennews.substack.com/p/6g-rollout-the-user-as-programmable https://forbiddennews.substack.com/p/is-mk-ultra-worldwide-james-martinez

There is an extensive glossary at the end of the book, and a call for a vision to stand up for the common good: ‘We believe in the power of diversified independent human thought, decentralised interconnectedness, cultural heritage, and freedom.’ This is fundamentally about values, and at a deeper level about ontology and our human capacity to imagine and enact a flourishing world in harmony with the whole of life rather than being caught up in a vision of doom, even if breakdown is a precondition for breakthrough and death for rebirth.
