Prodigal

The author has had a spectacular career in the music industry, and here he shares how a near death experience transformed his view of spirituality and humanity after being brought up in an evangelical Black church while his father was a pastor. He advances a number of fundamental propositions, that we are united rather than separate, that consciousness creates matter, and that the universe is God experiencing himself through us; in addition, we should not confuse goals with meaning, and should live life with a transformative intention beyond the limitations of traditional beliefs. This is a powerful, liberating and succinct message.
