New Collected Poems

This short book of poems is divided into two parts, with one part consisting of poems written in the late 1960s, and the other after 2000. They are written in a very distinctive voice on perennial themes of time, love and death. The more recent ones treat many of the themes of our conferences, at which Bob is a regular attender. One of my favourites is A Neuroscientist Once Opined all about the relationship between brain and mind and remarking that qualia are left out of the picture. Then there is another one entitled Always a Maybe, Always a Doubt about the big questions of life - an enjoyable read.
