Our Time is Now

This is the last of Cy's books to be published before his recent death at the age of 90. It consists of six essays on the need for reawakening to our roots and to the unity behind apparent separation. He diagnoses the shortcomings of the more classical Western worldview with its overemphasis on individualism, separation and atomism, calling for a return to insights contained in African belonging and Taoism, reminding us of the interconnected understanding of the new physics. He sums this up by saying that everything is enfolded in everything else, a phrase reminiscent of David Bohm. The reader also comes to appreciate how the themes of the book emerged from Cy's life experience.
