Occupy Consciousness

Peter McGugan is a film-maker and founder of ConsciousWorldSummit.com, and who was an inspiring contributor to the Wrekin Trust weekend last autumn. His basic argument is that every crisis is a crisis of unconsciousness that requires to be addressed by higher consciousness. He is well aware of the destructive and controlling machinations of the global elite and urges readers to be part of the solution by being Love Loving Life as a counterbalance, remembering that people of goodwill far outnumber them: 'without higher Consciousness our minds are unplugged from Creation's delicate balances, logic and reason, and our hearts and minds become toxic life-sucking black holes of ego, fear, darkness, cruelty and greed-addicted destruction.' This is a matter of Being, of Presence flowing out from the Divine within. The book covers a wide range of issues on which the author is well informed and his views are expressed in a lively conversational style: 'without awe, you may be in for a shock.' However, there is a good deal of repetition and the book could have benefited from some copy-editing. It is nevertheless a powerful statement.
