Nature's Revenge? Hurricanes, Floods and Climate Change

Another Institute of Ideas book examining the claim that hurricanes, floods and climate change are nature's wake-up call. The four authors line up two on either side when it comes to the desirability of humans attempting to counter climate change and indeed whether it really is a serious issue compared with many other social problems. A better answer can be found in GEO 3 reviewed elsewhere in this issue. However, these questions are as much moral and political as ecological, and the contributors do advance a variety of positions to show that climate change questions are inextricably linked to other human-induced problems.
