Militant Islam Reaches America

A book by the Director of the Middle East Forum who wrote that militant Islam had declared war on America even before 9/11. His main premise is a sharp distinction between Islam as a faith and militant Islam as an ideology. It is alarming to learn that one in eight Muslims supports this extremist approach, which the author shows is not the product of poverty as commonly supposed. His answer is to take steps to weaken militant Islam as well as help moderate Muslims to get their message across.
