Hallucinate! An Introduction to Non-Existing
The main thesis of this comprehensive investigation is that the time-space-matter package is not objective but a kind of hallucination (or waking dream) itself – a headset, as Donald Hoffman would put it. Correspondingly, ‘the reality that we perceived does not correspond to the objective reality’ – in other words, this is a form of philosophical idealism. The fundamental question is the relationship between the perceiver and the perceived reality. The book contains numerous personal accounts, as well as chapters on death, OBEs, NDEs, reincarnation, possession, and group hallucinations. It also describes some instances of intentional hallucinations, most touchingly involving his deceased daughter.
