Fifty Key Thinkers in Psychology

A very good introduction to 50 key thinkers in psychology. Each thinker gets about four pages plus a list of major writings and further reading. As one would expect, the entries are cross-referenced. It was good to see J.J. Gibson and Abraham Maslow included, along with some names that were completely new to me. The major omission in my view was Viktor Frankl; arguably Frederic Myers should have been featured as well. And, inevitably, there was no recognition of transpersonal psychology with Tart, Grof, Wilber and others. An informative volume, nevertheless.
