Bringing Our Souls Back Into A Deeper Relationship With Nature
This is a beautiful and contemplative book about bringing our souls back into a deeper relationship with Nature. It invites the reader to embark on a year-long journey into the natural world, creating a sacred space 'where your heart and soul intertwine with the soul of Nature, touching the very essence of the existence.' It is divided into 52 weeks, with sections entitled Imagine, Question, Explore, iRewild and a space for reflection. This creates a magical space for imaginative empathy, opening the heart, and being in the flow and feeling of natural processes, which we also are. We are encouraged to slow down and record our impressions artistically so as to transmute our human relationship with Nature: what is life and beauty saying to me, how can we breathe more deeply, how can we notice more subtly? Reflecting back on my own childhood, I realise how important it was for me to climb and spend quiet time in trees, and I have a particularly vivid memory of climbing a chestnut and looking over the green canopy at the top. We can all enhance our sense of peace and harmony in Nature, and this book provides a hugely valuable resource in that respect.
