Death Dying

Do We Survive Death?

a descriptive bibliography and discussion on the evidence supporting survival

Subtitled 'a descriptive bibliography and discussion on the evidence supporting survival' this is the second and enlarged edition of this work first published in 2001. It owes its origins to the Quaker After-Life Studies Group and provides the general reader with a comprehensive bibliography that also serves as an introduction to the survival issue. Allied topics such as reincarnation, NDEs, OBEs and shamanism are treated, along with personal experiences of mystics as well as ordinary individuals. This is followed by a discussion of the range of research and scientists who have openly supported it. Hodges also looks at Establishment resistance to survival evidence, bringing things right up to date with Gary Schwartz's book and a discussion of scientism. Although the book is not designed to present the detailed evidence to be found in the books listed, readers will come away with a good understanding of what is at stake and plenty of avenues to pursue.
