Cornucopia of Ideas: A Global Ideas Bank Compendium

This is the annual global ideas bank compendium produced by Nicholas Albery and his colleagues at the Institute for Social Inventions. They award a first prizeof £1,000 to the most innovative idea plus awards in a number of different categories such as medicine, neighbourhood, education and work. This year's prize goes to a scheme of community administration of local prisons in order to change the way criminals are treated. As usual the scope is enormous, with sections on children, relationships, health, environment, energy, transport, the arts and politics. It is an inexhaustible supply of ingenious schemes ideal for browsing.
