Chico Xavier - Medium of the Century
As the author rightly remarks, Chico Xavier is virtually unknown outside his native Brazil. It is astonishing to read that when he died in 2002, 120,000 people filed past his coffin and 30,000 joined the funeral procession. This book updates Guy's earlier work, describing Chico's life and his phenomenal output of more than 450 books of automatic writing, some of them in a series from the same sources such as Emmanuel, apparently Chico's chief guide and the author of five historical novels. Among the cases reported is one where a message from a boy who was accidentally shot by a friend enabling the case against the friend to be dismissed by the judge. The book also provides discussions of reincarnation and survival. A fascinating read.
