Captain of My Ship, Master of My Soul

This is a significant book, as attested by Dean Radin in his foreword. Set within the wider context of the author's autobiography, it tells the story of the classified CIA funded research on remote viewing at SRI International, where Dean himself was one of the scientists involved. The book is accompanied by an even more revealing CD, which gives basic workshops on RV along with more advanced tutorials on the actual techniques used. It also contains (rather poor) facsimiles of original documents, including a DIA document on Czech and Soviet parapsychological research dated 1975! The irony is that scientists are still arguing about the reality of RV when this stringent lab work was going on over 20 years ago. The release of this material considerably strengthens the scientific case and will no doubt be followed by more accounts from individuals involved on the Soviet side. This book, like the previous one, owes a debt to Bob Monroe and his institute – which also features on the CD. The take-home message is the same as so many of these books: 'I am a spiritual being…more than this physical body…my purpose here is to experience the awareness of All That Is'.
