CHRIST'S LETTERS 2000 AD

A friend sent me this extraordinarily powerful book last autumn, urging me to read it, which I did slowly over a period of months, and I urge you in turn to do so, and to ponder its profound explanations of the nature of reality and pressing spiritual message. It first emerged in 2001 and was penned by an anonymous woman after 40 years of communication with Christ. The first sentence states the overall intent of this cosmic transmission: ‘The New Testament, as it stands, with all its baggage of misinterpretation is a deterrent to spiritual evolution. It is now time to move forward into a new realm of mystical perception and understanding.’ There are nine letters, and the message is reinforced by unusual formatting in terms of bold and capital letters for emphasis – see below. There is a stark warning that given the dire state of collective consciousness (p. 114) ‘it is only by reaching for a higher vision that the physical world will be rescued from wholesale annihilation,’ which involves seeing ‘the Reality of Love behind and within all existence,’ as Yeshua also taught in his lifetime.

The autobiographical narrative sheds a great deal of light on processes that Yeshua underwent, and his rebellion against dogmatic forms of Jewish law is of the essence, especially in rejecting the vengeful concept of God. During his experience in the desert, he came to understand the creative power of the Universal Divine Mind, of which we are all microcosms through which the Divine can work. He calls this the Father-Creative-Power, equating God’s Light with Love (the kingdom of heaven), and consciousness with life. An important consequence is the primacy of the inner manifesting on the outer plane exhibiting the principles of resonance and attraction – as articulated by all the leading New Thought philosophers of the late 19th century. This is tied in with causality and karma, giving in order to receive – hence our mindsets with their corresponding mental and emotional patterns are absolutely fundamental. The basic dynamics of life are explained as activity-bonding-rejection and movement-desire-repulsion. The interpretation of the crucifixion as a ritual sacrifice is regarded as a hangover from the Old Testament when it was in fact the cost of his love and defiance.

The chaos we are witnessing in the world today is an externalisation of inner patterns that can only be transformed through alignment with Divine Light and Love, as witnessed by all great teachers who perceived and embodied the Reality of the Source of all Being and the consequent ‘Brotherhood of Beings of Life.’ We are all encompassed within Universal Love, ‘unified and one at soul level within your SOURCE of BEING.’ (p. 157) We need to wake up to this realisation of what is. Creation is set in motion by intention, while willpower is characterised in the masculine as thinking and activity, and in the feminine as feeling and nurturing. The kernel of the book is systematically set out in pp. 220 ff. Everything is consciousness/awareness made visible, and in its universal dimension is a state of silence and stillness (Walter Russell also said this). The Universal Will is to move out and create, while Universal Purpose gives individual form to creation and experience: FATHER CONSCIOUSNESS represents UNIVERSAL WILL as UNIVERSAL INTELLIGENCE, while MOTHER CONSCIOUSNESS is UNIVERSAL PURPOSE as UNIVERSAL LOVE. Put another way, FATHER CONSCIOUSNESS is INTELLIGENT LOVE, while MOTHER PURPOSE is LOVING INTELLIGENCE: INTELLIGENCE-LOVE is our SOURCE OF BEING (emphasis in original). Electricity as masculine is in equilibrium with magnetism as feminine.

Letter 5 goes on to explain the driving needs of the ego as a manifestation of individual being subject to the impulses of bonding-rejection and attraction-repulsion. Intelligent Love-Life can operate through attuned individuals in our world currently dominated by Ego Force (p. 244), but the soul is capable of emerging from the confines of the ego drive to express more fully its intrinsic Divine Consciousness – a process that requires a cleansing of consciousness and a refinement of traditional religious ideas such as sin and atonement. Yeshua vividly conjures up the Last Supper, warning that ‘in the future, much that I have taught you will be forgotten. Much that I have told you will be reasoned away by human thinking or distorted by human myths.’ (p. 284) A powerful prayer on p. 378 can help the reader to manifest the reality of Christ Consciousness.

The intent of the Letters reflects the same liberating mission as 2000 years ago whereby institutional Christianity with its mythical foundations is not a true reflection of the Christ message. The truth is that we have been born to individualise and express the Universal, the source of our being, culminating in Christ Consciousness and the reunion with our Source - Divine Consciousness. Since our consciousness is our reality, our work is to ‘keep our consciousness frequencies as steady as possible within our highest spiritual perceptions’ reflecting creativity and love. This is not a book to read once and set aside, but rather a form of vibrational attunement to Wholeness of Being originally referred to as the Kingdom of Heaven. It is a radical call to remember and enact our true nature.
