Co-Creating with Nature – Healing the Wound of Separation

This is an important contribution to the process of deepening our relationship with the natural world, becoming collaborators and co-creators with the living ecosystems around us. It draws on 50 years of reflection and experience with plants, and in a gesture to reclaim our kinship with Nature, the offer founded the Organisation of Nature Evolutionaries (O.N.E.). Pam's approach is based on the 12 laws of the universe, which she refers to as the Laws of Nature Consciousness. She explains how our cultural history has created a sense of separation, especially over the last few centuries. She then provides a chart of the Nature-Human Matrix involving the cultivation of the three centres of intelligence – gut, heart, and brain – and starting with healing the split and moving onto the development of trust, self-love, communication/communion, and joyful encounter. There is a particularly interesting chapter on time, quoting Monica Gagliano's distinction between external and internal time – time out there and in here. We have lost touch with Nature's rhythm, yet we can all live in the now.

Pam goes on to explain how to build a co-creative partnership with plants, and facilitation of plant initiations, drawing on her own experience and those of associates. This conveys a felt sense of such experiences in terms of learning to receive and identify vibratory resonance. The last part describes a series of plant initiations featuring the lights of hawthorn, St John's wort, rose, nettle, elder, and mugwort, each of which have their own characteristics. Hawthorn teaches in an exchange of thought that life is a pilgrimage or spiritual journey. Pam also describes the importance of her sanctuary garden, and of nature sanctuaries in general – something we can cultivate for ourselves. This inspiring book invites us to enter the Age of Interbeing, which is part of the story of the New Earth, and to focus our energy and intent accordingly.
