The Great Turning – Crop Circles and their Message to Humanity

Prof Jerry Kroth writes: Michael Green's The Great Turning is a colossal contribution to human understanding, to the crop circle phenomenon, and to consciousness in general. This book is beautifully produced and wonderfully written. It takes the reader on a journey which is quite unexpected. I am a crop circle researcher, but I follow an entirely different path—as if crop circles are extraterrestrial messages and mainly scientific expositions aimed at educating and elevating humankind. Green's approach is radically different, although it ends in very much the same space: at the end of his book, he writes: "You are dealing with an Intelligence, a knowing, far greater than perhaps the human mind can conceive." And with that I certainly concur. When he talks about crop circles, he makes very meticulous efforts to ensure these were not made by vandals and crop circle enthusiasts. But his journey through the litany of crop circles he chooses to discuss is deeply metaphysical, as if the various wheels and mandalas trace out a path of human discovery, development and realisation. I suspect that the late Michael Green also used these insights and stages for his own self-realisation as well. This is a masterful book and a great contribution to the crop circle movement.
