Seeking to further the new science of Cosmo-biology and the insights of Rudolf Steiner, Pelikan looks into the role of metals and lifeforms including plants, animals and ourselves. He describes each metal in turn, discussing its distribution over the earth, its chemical qualities and the role it has played in human history. He also speculates about the relationship between individual metals and organs in human body. All of this opens up a new dimension in one's understanding of metals.
