A book concentrating on US companies but which has wider ramifications as the concern for spirituality in the workplace burgeons. Part of the author's emphasis lies on the implications of diversity (hence the 'December problem' of how much to privilege Christian celebration) and in his call for a culture of 'respectful pluralism'. An interesting feature of the book is its comparative analysis of practice in India and Singapore, which have different ways of dealing with a similar diversity in the workplace.
