Death Dying
Progressive Endings
Changing attitudes to death and dying
Some readers may not be aware that Nicholas Albery, not himself a car owner, was killed in a crash in June this year. He is a huge creative loss to the alternative movement, and the Natural Death Centre was one of his ideas. This year's handbook is naturally framed by Nicholas's own death (and woodland funeral) and the reactions to it. But the book contains much other worthwhile material including an extended diary of Ian Daycock's death. The book should be in every hospice.
