Temenos Academy Review, Spring 2001

Every year the Temenos Academy Review upholds traditional values based on truth, goodness and beauty while maintaining the highest standards. This issue contains the Prince of Wales's Reith Lecture, which many will have read when it first came out, then a number of articles focused on Marcilio Ficino, one of which reflects on the principle of unity in Ficino and Shakespeare (and there is also a talk by Martin Lings on Shakespeare and Keats). In addition to some fine poetry - including a long extract from a poem about the Buddha- there is a haunting series of seascapes from the West coast of Scotland. A sustaining collection as always.
