A technical review of current research and theories about the interplay between cognition and emotion. The aim of the book is to pride researchers and students with state-of-the-art reviews of the most important research topics, specifying the relevant issues, the main theories, findings and conclusions and the most important challenges for the future. In addition, there is a discussion about how the research topics are related, especially with respect to the most important series and their bearing on the evidence. Topics include the psychology of emotion regulation, the effects of emotion on attention, measures of emotion and the perception and categorisation of emotional stimuli.
