Scottish Philosophy - Selected Writings 1690-1960

This is a new and welcome series from Imprint Academic - the Library of Scottish Philosophy. This volume is the natural starting point since it contains selections from 13 prominent Scottish philosophers, many of whom were luminaries of the Scottish Enlightenment. J.F. Ferrier was professor at St Andrews in the mid-19th century (and taught Andrew Lang), while 20th century entries include two famous Gifford Lecturers in A.E. Taylor and John Macmurray (see below).
