A contemplative book based on the writings of Swedenborg offering symbolic commentaries on key Old Testament passages dealing with the Divine inner presence represented by the Ark of the Covenant. The book is informed both by textual and symbolic knowledge and invites the reader to relate the insights to their own daily lives. Even so, this is more a book for those already familiar with Swedenborg.
