Radical Ecopsychology - Psychology in the Service of Life
by Andy Fisher ✦ Review by David Lorimer, August 2004
A thorough text that can serve as a critical introduction to the burgeoning field of ecopsychology, a term that I associate with Theodore Roszak. In his introduction David Abram writes that ecopsychology tries to bridge the divide between mind and matter, between the psyche in here and nature out there. He regards this book as the most important work written on ecopsychology from a clinical perspective, providing as it does not only the groundwork but an account of its implications and practice.
