The Unique Teaching of Ramesh S. Balsekar with Stories and Anecdotes

Ramesh Baksekar is a teacher of Advaita and student of the great teacher Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, who directed him to teach in 1982. Balsekar was President of the Bank of India before his retirement and is clearly a remarkable communicator. This book paints of vivid picture of the man and his teaching, spiced as it is with many classic stories. It ranges over the key themes of the spiritual life, drawing also on Ramana Maharshi. Balsekar writes that spiritual seeking started at the same time as the ego was created, and that 'the seeking stops the moment it is understood that there never has been a seeker, there never has been a thinker, there never has been a doer of any kind and that there has never been an experiencer'.
