The Builders of Camphill

Lives and Destinies of the Founders

Readers may know that the Camphill movement grew out of the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner in the late 1930s, and has now expanded to form a network of some 100 communities that cater for children and adults with special needs. This book is a biographical account of the founders of the movement by those who knew them with many photos and direct quotations from the subjects themselves. An important document that also describes the background to many of the founders fleeing Vienna in 1938.
