An interesting historyof the first 100 years of the Nobel Prize. It begins with the relevant extract from the will of Alfred Nobel and vividly describes his life. Chapters on the Nobel Foundation and the nomination and selection of Nobel Laureates follow, with separate chapters on the history of each of the five original prizes - the sixth for economics was added in 1969.
