Virtual Medicine

Keith was one of the attenders at our 1995 conference in St. Petersburg where we had the chance to speak to leading Russian scientists explaining 'torsion fields'. This is one of the many strands of ideas brought into this book which combines insights from ancient Chinese medicine with the latest computer and electronic devices. Keith is well read in the field and draws on early electromagnetic developments with Abrams and Lakhovsky as precursors of what he calls virtual medicine. It seems that we are reaching some of the limits of the purely molecular approach to health and disease and need to advance on the interface of physics and biology in order to make further breakthroughs in both diagnosis and healing. Lakhovsky himself bemoaned that his critics were either physicists who did not understand biology or biologists who did not understand physics! Keith's book gives a thorough overview of the biophysical field that can serve the reader as a departure point for further research.
