Coping Better with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for CFS/ME

A guidebook by two clinicians working in the Fatigue Service at the Royal Free Hospital on cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) in the context of treating chronic fatigue and ME. The book gives the background to the condition before suggesting various interventions that sufferers might use, including goal setting, management of thoughts and feelings, getting enough sleep, coping with stress and challenging unhelpful patterns of thinking. There are helpful charts and examples which facilitate a practical and interactive approach.
