The Missing Peace - The Advanced Seeker's Guide to Wholeness
This book is the fruit of 25 years of practice and experience in spiritual psychotherapy. It will not only interest practising therapists but everyone who is embarked on the spiritual journey and who is seeking integration and wholeness. The authors call their method the RAPSI process, which involves the five stages of recognition, relationship, reconciliation, release and radiating. They explain this with the help of illustrative case histories that bring it alive. Various other aspects of the process are also highlighted: 'the unconscious equation' that holds people into self-defeating patterns, the cultural straitjacket, the ostensible influence of past life scenarios, the need to integrate critical internal observers, and problems arising from spirit attachment . The authors also discuss the use of absent healing and the benefits of their programme for people whose lives are working well but not at a 10/10 level. To this end they provide a do-it-yourself wholeness programme of exercises that will help the reader reintegrate the forces within them and enhance their overall wellbeing. This is a very well set out and helpful book.
