The Essential David Bohm
Many readers will be familiar with the work of the physicist David Bohm FRS (1917-1992). This new compilation offers a thematic series of readings from his books organised round his concept of order - universal, individual and collective. It forms a good introduction to his work and contains some unpublished material, notably a vintage dialogue on 'Knowledge and Endarkenment'. It is also instructive to note that his diagnosis of why the world is in a bad state is that we are all following our individual and collective egos!
