Horizons in Radionics

Radionics is a healing technique in which our natural ESP facilities are used both to discover the energetic disturbances underlying illness and to encourage the return of the normal energetic field that supports health. Like many other forms of what is conventionally known as "healing", the effects are independent of distance between practitioner and patient. What is specific to radionics is the use of some form of instrument – the so-called "black box". This symposium volume celebrates the Diamond Jubilee of the Radionic Association. It forms a useful update on present day thinking and practice. Subjects covered include the relationship between radionics and modern science, the role of miasms, discussion of radionics in relation to the chakras, the use and meaning of the radionic rates, use of radionics in agriculture, and environmental radionics: dealing with geopathic stress. The book contains a number of encouraging case histories, both for humans and animals. The role of the instrumentation remains for me the biggest puzzle. Its main function seems to be as a ritual to focus psychic healing. But in addition the instrument may somehow serve to store intention, so that healing continues while the healer's mind is otherwise occupied. This book must have been compiled before publication of the recent work of Professor Tiller's group showing storage of intention in an electronic device1. In spite of the impeccable science which went into this work, however, a recent attempt to repeat the principal result has failed2. Those interested in the back up to radionics by scientific theory may like to look at some recent work on quantum holography to account for the function of the DelaWarr camera3,4.
